The goal was to curate a distinctive brand identity that would appeal primarily to tattoo enthusiasts, but remain visually accessible to everyone. Conveying product quality and natural sustainability in a competitive skincare market were top priority. I conducted market analysis to identify a gap for skincare products specifically formulated for tattooed skin. I then analyzed target audience preferences, interests, and values to determine the optimal brand personality that would resonate with tattoo enthusiasts.
Solution
I crafted a bright, charismatic brand identity using bold, neutralized colors and rounded blocky typefaces. Ink Skincare is the embodiment of "the person everyone wants at a party" – loud and fun, yet approachable and genuine. This energetic personality was perfectly balanced with organic graphics to subtly communicate the all-natural, minimal-ingredient formulations.
Implementation
Developed a cohesive visual identity system that embodies the brand's core belief that "all skin is beautiful" while maintaining a fun, playful voice. Created simple packaging designs and marketing assets that reflect the natural quality of the products.
